While visiting other farms across the South, the family witnessed hobby farms and ranchers divesting of some goats to introduce sheep. The Fairey’s farm began to raise full blooded Katahdin sheep in 2023. Offspring is used to enlarge their livestock holdings and the farm markets very limited quantities of select USDA Katahdin lamb directly to the public.
